The National Gallery, in Spanish National Gallery, along with the British Museum, is the most reputable museum in the United Kingdom. A neoclassical building in 1884, it houses many of the most prominent artistic works in history.

The cultural and tourist appeal of the gallery has been enormous for more than a century, as from the beginning it was intended to receive the general public, making it accessible for free, and with an interior layout optimized for a large number of visitors to pass through it without waiting.

Opening hours Friday from 10:00 to 21:00, other days from 10:00 to 18:00h.
Comments on the opening hours Some areas of the gallery remain closed on Mondays until 11. It only closes 4 days a year: January 1, December 24, 25, and 26. For security reasons, only entry with a medium or small handbag (maximum 40 x 25 x 25 cm) is allowed. Large bags and suitcases are not permitted.
