"Summer Days" is a tribute to the summer days when the sun, light, and warmth flood the hours and gift us the joy of living. The painting features a dark-skinned woman, a Mediterranean woman, who with a melancholic feeling, lifts her head towards the sky and closes her eyes trying to remember those warm moments.

Technically, it is crafted with oil and paper, blending the two materials. There are papers with floral patterns and golden papers referring to the summer light and its life. Chromatically, the painting is composed of two complementary colors (blue and ochre/orange) to create contrast and enhance the effect of light.
