Teresa Infiesta
Teresa Infiesta, a plastic artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. She specialized in Conservation and Restoration of cultural goods and did internships as a scholarship holder at the MNAC (National Museum of Art of Catalonia) and CRBMC (Catalonia's Center for the Restoration of Movable Cultural Property).
In 2012, she decided to pursue a master's degree in education and focused on teaching art classes in a school in Barcelona and at the UIC (International University of Catalonia). After six years as a teacher, she decided to dedicate herself exclusively to painting. She currently combines her dedication to painting with artistic training at the Barcelona Academy of Art to deepen her studies in drawing and painting.
Her work focuses on representing aspects of reality, such as nature or the human figure, that excite, surprise, and move her. From them, she creates her own work, losing the reference to reality and experimenting with materials in search of textures and mixing techniques to create new plastic languages and provide another vision of reality.
