The act of depicting an urban landscape here is used as a means to convey plastic language to the observer.

Indeed, the object used is important, Madrid, the charm of Gran Vía, Cibeles, etc... But what is most important is the balance sought through this object, to achieve a composition where "fact" and "discard", curves and straight lines, cold and warm; complement each other, giving the work a depth richer than the mere representation of a street.

The observer, upon viewing the work, will discover a search in which not everything is resolved in the same way. The buildings, rigid, cold are balanced with warm, saturated trees, in an attempt to contrast two different languages. One of them much more abstract. And provoke the receiver not to have all the information at first, but to immerse themselves in the painting and gradually discover it.
