Syndics of the Drapers' Guild, Rembrandt

Oil on canvas by the Dutch artist Rembrandt, painted in 1662.
It is known as the artist's last great group portrait commissioned.
The painting features five members of the Amsterdam cloth guild in their hats, plus a sixth figure without a hat (Frans Hendricksz Bel) who is in charge of the premises. This group was responsible for ensuring the quality of the cloth.
Dressed in traditional Dutch attire, they are gathered around a red table covered with a carpet, inspecting the catalog.
