The painting titled "Cupidon" (in English, "Cupid"), also known by its French name, "L'amour mouillé", which translated into English would be "Wet Love". It was created in 1891 by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. It is one of the artist's most recognized "angels of love." 
Wet Cupid, as its name in French suggests. A cloud that has passed has left the little angel soaked. Now awakened to life after the scare, the poor one has dropped its quiver to the ground and feels a bit cold and defenseless.  Later, he will find in his love for Psyche the measure of adult love, the love that endures even if a downpour falls.
