- Proportion: the paintings must fit the size of the room and the wall where they will be hung; that is, the larger the room, the larger the painting should be.

- Color: the painting should incorporate the tones present in the space to be decorated, highlighting them with vibrant colors.

- Light: the less light the walls have, the less intense the colors should be.

- Texture: it is advisable to create strong contrasts between the different textures in the room; for example, if you have a smooth leather sofa, a painting with a very rough texture would look fantastic nearby.
